Argyll Scott is now seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. The KAM will be responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with key retail partners, ensuring the delivery of business objectives while driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, and other stakeholders in the accounts.
  • Ensure alignment of business strategies and foster long-term partnerships.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market share objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new product placements, promotional activities, and business expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize account performance and profitability.

Joint Business Planning:

  • Lead annual joint business planning sessions with key accounts, including forecasting, goal setting, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored solutions that align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors to adjust plans and strategies as needed.

Category & Product Management:

  • Manage product assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies within key accounts.
  • Analyze category performance and work with customers to optimize product placement, promotions, and inventory levels.
  • Partner with the merchandising and marketing teams to support product launches and brand initiatives.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Regularly track and analyze account performance, including sales data, market share, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management on account activities, trends, and opportunities.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommend adjustments to account strategies.

Issue Resolution & Relationship Management:

  • Proactively address and resolve any operational, logistical, or commercial issues with key accounts.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal teams (e.g., supply chain, finance, and customer service) and key accounts.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent service and problem-solving.

Desired Skills & Experience

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in KAM, Sales in FMCG or similar industry.

· Bachelor’s Degree/ master’s degree in business, marketing or related subject.

· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently
