About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Manager to join a dynamic team within a Global Multinational Corporation. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between the Finance and Sales teams, ensuring that pricing strategies align with both market demands and financial goals. The Pricing Manager will be responsible for setting competitive pricing and developing pricing frameworks, calculators, and financial models to empower the Sales team to effectively go to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy Development:
Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance profitability, market competitiveness, and customer value.
Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure pricing strategies align with overall financial objectives.
Bid Management:
Lead the pricing aspect of bid proposals, ensuring that bids are both competitive and profitable.
Work closely with the Sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor pricing accordingly.
Pricing Framework and Tools:
Design and maintain pricing frameworks, calculators, and financial models to support the Sales team in pricing decisions.
Develop tools that enable the Sales team to quickly and accurately generate quotes and proposals.
Continuously refine and improve pricing tools based on feedback and changing market conditions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as the primary liaison between the Finance and Sales teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on pricing strategies.
Provide training and support to the Sales team on pricing tools and strategies.
Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with product positioning and operational capabilities.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing decisions on profitability.
Prepare regular reports on pricing performance, highlighting key metrics and insights.
Monitor and analyze pricing trends, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related role, preferably in the service/solution industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing software. Advanced Excel skills are required.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex pricing strategies to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
