Python Developer (Securities Lending)- Contract- 100k P/M

What you will do

• You will be involved in understanding business flow and work on a key initiative that stream lines the application suite, covering mostly server side development using Python.
• You will be one of the core members of the team and will be responsible for – analyzing requirements, developing the system, and working with the tech partners and users to roll out the deliverable.
• You will also be expected to work closely with global counter parts across regions and collaborate on the assigned tasks for seamless delivery.

Your background

• 4 to 10 years of experience in Python development preferably in Financial Services
• Educated to degree level in an IT/Engineering/Mathematics field
• Strong in Python development
• SQL proficiency and query optimization (ideally Sybase)
• Messaging middleware technology experience
• The ability to communicate (both written and verbal) at all levels to business and technology members
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on approach and willing to investigate problems
• The ability to work across a global organization
• Strong business and data analysis skills
• Agile/Scrum development lifecycle skills
