Regional Logistics (and Planning) Director - Retail

A global retail brand client is seeking a seasoned Regional Logistics (and Planning) Director to join its Singapore office.

Reporting to the Head of Asia, the ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in supply chain dynamics across Asia, logistics management, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies for the Asia region in alignment with business goals
• Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock across distribution centres
• Oversee the operational logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfilment to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Establish and maintain relationships with key logistics partners, ensuring service excellence and reliability in delivery
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
• Over 12 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management in the retail industry
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex supply chain networks across the Asia region
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in guiding teams towards achieving common goals
• Proven track record of implementing innovative logistics solutions and process improvements
